Adventure programme
Team adventure (or adventure programme) is a structured and delightful programme where staff of an organization together experience challenging situations in the nature, under unusual circumstances. In everyday life we continuously fight with our limits. We feel safe in routine jobs, we are confident when solving well-known situations and can forecast the outcomes of such routine tasks. The area within our comfort zone is comfortable for us. However, the land of real opportunities is over the borders of comfort zone. What am I able to do? In adventure programme, we push your limits and revaluate the term „impossible". We all know how challenges and common thrills can improve integrity of a team. We pay special attention to make sure that participants, in addition to their individual development, can experience the team force and the importance of common performance. We offer our customers tailored team adventure programmes, consisting of different elements, such as exercises in high altitude, adventure trip with map, jeep tour, paintball, walking on fire, etc.
We can develop exciting and challenging programmes for large groups, as well.
Rock-climbing with the support of the team
Two rocks in Hámor (Bükk Mountains) provide various climbing routes ranging from 25 up to 50 meters in height. With an extra rope the team can help the suitably secured climber get over the most challenging sections of the wall.
Duration of the exercise: 2 to 2.5 hours.
„Panoramic descent"
The giant vertical white wall of Fehérkő rock is unique in Hungary. The view from the top of the rock (587 m.a.s.l.) is fascinating but thrilling, too. If you look down, you see the curves of Szinva stream hundreds of meters below, so descending with a rope from the rock top to a depth of 26 meters tries even the bravest of you.
Duration of the exercise: 1.5 to 2 hours.
„Stairway climbing"
The task is to climb stairs of different height over the 20-meter long route between two smooth faces of Fehérkő rock. This exercise allows beginners to have a taste of rock climbing.
Duration of the exercise: 1.5 to 2 hours.
Night rock-climbing
You must first pass a 45-minute walk in the dark forest to get to the location of the main exercise (under the rock), where camp-fire shows them the way. The 20-meter high Reibung wall has two different routes for climbers, who must wear headlamps. Team members use an extra rope to help you get to the top of the rock, where another light source is showing you the way. Once standing at the top, you can enjoy beautiful night lights of small villages at the feet of hills. You can experience how your sense of time and space changes under such circumstances, and how it feels to trust the help of your partners „blindly".
Duration of the trip: 5 hours.
Giant swing
This exercise gives you the opportunity to leave the comfort zone, as required. Depending on the conditions of the location (forest, steep canyon), the length of swing ropes may reach 25 meters. Your partners pull you up to the required height by means of pulleys and a rope. You can be elevated up to the top attachment point of swing ropes, so the length of swing may reach 50 meters. You wear a special harness, which entirely prevents you from falling out. A braking rope allows you to stop the system in 10 seconds if you think it's too much when already being in motion.
Duration of the exercise: 1.5 to 2 hours.
Steps in wooden log
This exercise is made on a 15-meter long wooden log, containing stairs carved in. The log is set to 45 degrees and the last small stair at the end of the log is 10 meters above the ground level. You have walk up this thrilling log by being deprived of your sight, with a shawl tied in front of your eyes. You may think it is impossible. Yes it is, unless you have a good team, which gives you the feeling of safety when you are out of your sense of balance and a suitable leader who controls your motions with audible instructions. Similarly to „Catwalk" exercise, when you complete the task, you can walk back on the log with your sight regained, or your team can lower you from the top of the log. If you are brave enough, you can even jump down from the log.
Duration of the exercise: 2.5 to 3 hours.
„Catwalk"
Everyone has seen a cat walking on the roof. This simple but popular exercise is a traditional part of team building programmes. The idea behind „catwalk" is to go through a 25-cm wide board between two trees 6 meters above the ground level. You can climb up to the board on a rope ladder. Once you set off on the ladder, team members are responsible for your safety by means of a safety rope. When the catwalk is completed, you have several options to finish the exercise. You can walk back on the rope ladder, or your team members can lower you to the ground. You can also jump down, which is pretty difficult, because for a short time you have to rely on your partners only.
Each movement of the exercise is supervised by a specialist, who intervenes, when needed.
Duration of the exercise: 1.5 to 2 hours.
