When we meet a problem or difficulty in everyday life, we analyze the situation and try to find root cause of the problem. In possession of this information we plan corrective actions and determine the further tasks to do. However, in practice we often get blocked at the level of revealing or understanding a problem, and fail to change our approach.
In our training we suggest a different and more successful way to handle problems, which is guaranteed to change your approach. Solution-oriented approach means that we focus on the expected result and targets, instead of analyzing the problem. If we concentrate on what we are doing, we will be able to use resources that will result in a concrete action plan. Coaching means a discussion method that manager uses when talking to colleagues and subordinates. During coaching the manager gives the colleague a chance to use his/her own resources for making a solution plan.
THE GOAL OF TRAINING
In our training we want managers to experience the difference between solution-oriented and problem-oriented thinking. Participants can experience the change of approach in a second, and this gives them motivation to acquire the method. During studying this method we give a review of the GROW model and the 8-step model and use situation games for practising it. We add some outdoor exercises (situations, movement tasks) to make learning even more efficient.
