TRAINER COURSE

 

OUTDOOR TRAINER COURSE PROGRAMME

Based on experiences obtained in trainer course teams in previous years, Imagement Training Center started a 110-hours trainer course  with the leadership of András Boros and Zoltán Herczenik.

The goal of the course

During the course, participants can learn how to develop and manage a complete outdoor training programme.

Course topics

Course teams consist of 15 persons. The programme "Train the Trainer" includes three times 3-day long boarding training (two days for self-experience plus a one-day processing workshop) and a 2-day methodology workshop in Budapest.

Participants will

  • learn the wide of range of different outdoor exercises,
  • acquire outdoor training methodology,
  • learn theoretical fundamentals and models of empirical learning,
  • experience how an outdoor training team works,
  • learn special things needed for planning outdoor trainings (tracks, maps, safety precautions, logistics, assistants, checklist, etc.),
  • recognize the role of outdoor trainers.

Outdoor trainings focus on the following special topics: team building, communication, mass decision making, conflict management, cooperation, leadership, problem solving, individual learning, changing.


In addition to the exercises passed during self-experience trainings, participants can learn other types of exercises as well as combination and application thereof.

  • The very essentials of outdoor: exercises in high altitude, challenge, adrenaline, getting out of the comfort zone
  • Exercises using map, part two (leadership, team roles)
  • A 2-day self experience and a one-day workshop
  • Closing exercises
  • Changes in team dynamics
  • Appearance of new skills

Closing workshop, where we summarize experiences of previous nine days and review how to proceed.

Leaders of the course

András Boros (50): He is a psychologist and has been involved in trainings and organization development business for 20 years. He acquired fundamentals of empirical learning in the US, later participated in a methodology course in Spain.

As a professional advisor, he managed the establishment and starting of the first Hungarian outdoor training company (Concordia Outdoor Training). He is one of the pioneers of the trade in Hungary.
He used outdoor method in trainings, and later integrated it into long-term organization development processes for his clients, such as Vivendi, Synergon, General Motors Europe, dr.Oetker, Zwack Unicum, etc.
He is still leading trainer and consultant courses.

Zoltán Herczenik (38): After heading self-knowledge teams in the 90s, he started working with different organizations as HR manager of Imagement Group. Since 2002 he has been general manager and chief expert of Imagement Training Center Kft. This was the year when main profile of the company changed to organization development with outdoor methods. The successful application of this approach is proven by positive feedbacks from our strategic partners, such as T-Mobile, Penny Market, General Electric, ING. As leader of the first Hungarian open outdoor trainer course, he gained valuable experiences in education of outdoor methodology
